This is a standing wave created by the superpostion of two traveling waves of the same frequency and amplitude. In this case, the top wave is 2 m of a 515 Hz forward traveling wave. The middle wave is 2 m of a 515 Hz backward traveling wave. The bottom wave is the standing wave created by the superposition of the two.
